It was really Memorable time. Street food, and the market, and the music was amazing. However, parking was hassle. Very hard to find and 1 hour free street parking. Not enough for this kind of festival. One of my friend get parking ticket. Otherwise, good time in hot summer. We enjoyed.

Good place if you are really craving some Indian atmosphere. Otherwise it seemed overhyped to me and my wife. Bombay Chowpati offers excellent Masala Chai and Wada Pav.

Great place for Indian and Pakistani food, happening in weekends. You will get North Indian , South Indian food.Must have the delicious kabab, Pan .Also there is a BJ supermarket, you will get all the Indian spices and vegetables. Even you will get the Amla and all. South Indian restaurant Udupi is having all the South Indian dishes, however found little expensive. In a walking distance will get dollar tree too, will get everything in 1.25 CAD.In a nutshell you will get the Indian flavours here in Canada.Must Visit!!!

It's a misnomer, it's actually Pakistani and Indian mixed place, most grocery stores and restaurants have Pakistani foods,Kashmiri tea, paan ,qulfi ,Chaat corn ,juices all have Pure Pakistani taste. Most of the Cloth shops and ready made garments are Indian.Good wedding stuff for both bride and groom, and good party wear.On 14 August there is a street party , people wearing green ,the color of Pakistan, some car motorcade with Pakistani flags also sighted there.A good place to walk eat and enjoy.

Being a indian you will love to visit this place again and again. You will get Pan shop, jewellery, chat, indian chai and all types of indian/pakistani attires. I visited this place during Diwali , found rangoli, crackers everything what I needed. I felt things were not too costly. Have one sugar cane juice and have food at Lahore tikka house.

A Vibrant Cultural Experience at Gerrard India Bazaar, TorontoI recently had the pleasure of visiting Gerrard India Bazaar in Toronto, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience. This bustling South Asian market district is a cultural gem, offering visitors an authentic taste of India right in the heart of the city.As soon as I stepped into the bazaar, I was greeted by a riot of colors, captivating fragrances, and the lively sounds of Bollywood music. The vibrant atmosphere instantly transported me to the bustling streets of India, making me feel like I was on a mini-adventure.The Gerrard India Bazaar features an array of shops, each with its unique offerings. I was particularly impressed by the selection of traditional Indian clothing and accessories, including intricately embroidered sarees, elegant salwar kameez, and beautifully designed jewelry. The quality and craftsmanship of these items were truly remarkable.Another highlight of my visit was the mouth-watering array of Indian cuisine available. I indulged in some delicious street food, including savory chaat and crispy samosas, before treating myself to a flavorful curry at one of the many restaurants lining the bazaar. The food was not only delectable but also incredibly affordable, making it an irresistible treat for both my taste buds and wallet. What truly sets Gerrard India Bazaar apart, though, is the warmth and hospitality of the people who work there. The shopkeepers were incredibly friendly and eager to share their knowledge about their products, making my shopping experience even more enjoyable. I was particularly touched by the personal attention I received at a small handicrafts store, where the owner patiently explained the intricate techniques used to create the beautiful handmade items on display. In conclusion, my visit to Gerrard India Bazaar was a memorable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore Toronto's diverse cultural scene. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to the city, the bazaar offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of South Asian culture, cuisine, and craftsmanship.
